Amazon announced last year that they will be utilizing a shovel-ready site as the setting for a new facility in the Minnesota Technology Corridor. Centerville—one of the cities that makes up the Corridor—is the location for their 140,000-square-foot building.
Centerville Shovel-Ready Site a New Home To New Amazon
Among the many shovel-ready sites available in Centerville, one in particular piqued Amazon’s interest. The Centerville City Council approved the project in May 2022 and construction for the new building began in July 2022. Everyone working on the project is sticking to the tight timeline and quickly getting the space move-in ready for Amazon.
